About Monster Club

What is Monster Club?

Monster Club ChildrenWith the help of Sparky, Monster Club is a fun filled and educational after-school program that provides children with a supervised environment. Sparky's passion for working with children has grown to an after school program at 25 communities throughout Florida.

For your children, our program offers a full five-day-a-week after-school program, enriching the lives of children ages 5-12, enrolled in grades K-6. Each day that your child is here, Sparky and his team assist with homework, creative arts and crafts, energy boosting recreation and stimulating games. Although Sparky makes everyday fun, one day a week is extra “special”. This day typically includes movie time, games and outdoor recreational activities. Children have the opportunity to earn “Monster Bucks” which Sparky uses to reward children for good behavior, grades, or community service ideas. HOW GENIUS!

Monster Club strives to provide awareness and education on important topics through friends of Sparky; which include police officers, fire fighters, nutritionists and members of the military. These guest speakers educate and interact with your child on the importance of their career and the role they play within the local community.

Monster Club practices giving back to the community through various projects such as Hometown Heroes, Ronald McDonald House, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Toy's for Tots, food banks and local nursing homes.

Help Sparky keep Monster Club going! We appreciate "in kind" donations such as "healthy snacks," books, games, arts and craft materials and computers are used for educational opportunities, homework help and play time. If you would like to donate items needed please contact Sparky or donate at your individual community or Monster Club program.

Testimonials Monster Club

“The Monster Club is a true blessing. It’s an after school program that allows me to work without worry. It also has a program for teenagers, which my oldest son is a part of. He volunteers and gains community service hours. My three younger children get to do arts and crafts, play on the playground, they get snacks, and make lots of friends. I love Monster Club and I don’t know what I would do without it.”

- R. Gonzalez, Resident

“I enjoy having my children go to Monster Club for the scheduled physical activities, fun crafts and the opportunity to interact with their social peers. As a divorced mother of 3, I enjoy knowing my children are in an environment close to home.”

– Monica, Resident
